Sports Betting

  • What is the minimum amount that I can bet?
    As long as your account has sufficient balance, the minimum amount that you can bet is KSH 20 (for a multibet) or KSH 49 (for a single bet). Certain bet types, such as Jackpot Bets, have a fixed price. If you are not sure and would like to find out more, please contact our Customer Support team.
  • How do I cancel my bet?
    Once a bet is placed it cannot be cancelled.
  • Can I place a bet via mobile?
    You can now register and place bets on your mobile phone .Just type in m.dafabet.co.ke in your mobile browser.
  • Can I place a bet via telephone?
    Although we do not offer telephone betting, you can dial *238# to use our USSD betting platform.
  • Why was my bet voided?
    If a sporting event or match is suspended, abandoned or postponed, then the entire match may be considered void. In such a case, the stake will be returned on any single selection. Void bets in any type of multibet will be treated as non-runners and the stake will run onto the remaining selections in the bet.
  • What in-play betting markets do you offer online?
    We offer a range of in-play markets on Soccer, Basketball, Baseball and Tennis.
  • What is handicap betting?
    Handicap betting is when one competitor or team receives a virtual head start (effectively leading by that head start before the event begins) in order to make the contest closer. The winner is the competitor or team with the better score after adding the given handicap to the result. Handicap rules are set out in the specific event betting rules found within the Terms and Conditions section of this website.
  • How do I check all my betting transactions?
    You can check all your betting transactions by clicking on 'My Bets' near the top of the page, once you have logged into your account. Pending and settled bets are available from the drop down menu.

  • How to Bet
    STEP 1: Create a Dafabet Account. Go to the Dafabet Sportsbook homepage (www.dafabet.co.ke) and click on the "JOIN NOW" button. Fill in the necessary fields on the registration page then click on the "Register Account" button.
    You may also dial *238# and follow the prompts, or send an SMS to 29567 with the word JOIN.
    STEP 2: Account Funding. To ensure you are able to place bets with us, your account will need to be funded. For full details on how to fund your account, use the “deposit” button once you have logged in. Our MPESA paybill number is 290067 and for Airtel, use the reference ‘Dafabet’.
    STEP 3: Placing a Bet. Once logged in, start by selecting the sport of your choice. The sports available are listed down on the left hand menu.
    Click on the sport of your choice and all the leagues/events and markets available for that sport for that day will be displayed on the betting page. Future events are available by clicking on the relevant date tabs at the top of the betting page.
    A variety of leagues and events will be available after selecting a sport. Click on the leagues and events of your choice.
    Select the price (odds) you wish to bet on. This automatically adds your selection to the Bet Slip (right hand side). Once on the Bet Slip you can enter the stake you wish to risk.
    If your selection is correct, find the “Multi Bet” option and enter your stake. If you are happy with the potential returns displayed on your betslip, select “Place Bet” and your bet will be processed and a transaction acknowledgment will appear.
    STEP 4: Check Bet. You can check your bet has been successfully placed by checking the My Bets button which will display your pending and settled bets via a drop down menu.
    STEP 5: Look Around. Dafabet offers lots of bet types in addition to traditional sports betting. You can place bets on virtual sports, Jackpots predictor bets, as well as taking advantage of our cashout opportunities.
